Characteristics of Acústic Blanc

Acústic Blanc is a white wine from the D.O Monstant produced by Celler Acústic. This wine is a blend of 4 different grape varieties: Garnacha Blanca (60%), Macabeo (25%), Garnacha Roja (10%)and the native Pansal (5%).

The grapes used to produce this wine are grown on vineyards at altitudes of 700 metres in the regions of Marçà and Cornudella de Montsant. The vineyards are home to stony soils and vines that are between 40 and 80 years old.

The harvest is carried out manually. At the winery, the grapes first undergo cold maceration which lasts for 2 days. Following this, they undergo a partial fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by another fermentation in French oak barrels for 3 months.

Acústic is a personal project of Albert Jané. With this wine, which has a red wine counterpart, the winery looks to re-establish the importance of traditional viticulture, while taking advantage of modern techniques.

Tasting notes Acústic Blanc

Sight Straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Clean and very bright. It has elegant, refined and slow-falling tears. Nose Good aromatic intensity in which the aromas of ripe white fruit (apples, pears, apricots) are noticed along with some nuances of tropical fruit and citrus. These notes are released along with subtle floral aromas, orange blossom and interesting notes of aromatic herbs on an unctuous background with toasted and bakery hints. Taste Nice attack, followed by a seductive unctuosity noticed all along the mid palate. The aromas felt in the nose are released again in the mouth: abundant notes of ripe fruit well combined with the toasted notes provided during the ageing in barrels. It stands out by its great acidity, which provides it with a huge vivacity. Long finish with some very interesting bitter notes. A honest and complex enjoyable white wine.
Sight Pale yellow with steely glare. Nose Intensely aromatic. Aromas of white fruit with citrus notes. Mineral and floral background. Taste Good entry, intense and enveloping. Silky, burly step. Very good acidity, balanced with a long finish.

Sight Pale yellow with clear borders. Very bright. Glyceric, with abundant tears. Nose Intense and elegant aromas. The notes of white and tropical fruit and citrus are mixed with floral and herbal aromas on a creamy background of refined toasted hints. Taste Nice attack. Good presence of fruit and flowers. Unctuous, fleshy and very fresh mid palate. Very good acidity. Long and lingering finish with a herbal aftertaste. A round and well-bodied white wine.
Sight It has a golden yellow and bright when the sun comes out remembering and letting a tear slide down thick and clear glass. Nose The aroma of grenache white flowers reminiscent of spring as the lily and the pink and ripe pineapple. The red Garnacha Macabeo and gives us the feeling very tropical orange, banana, lychee and pineapple. Taste On the palate, we have a very round wine, with a pass from mouth clean and clear with long, fresh aftertaste Mediterranean species such as fennel and rosemary characteristic of white grenache.

D.O. D.O. Montsant

Winery Acústic Celler

The DO Montsant is situated in the province of Tarragona, surrounding the DOQ Priorat. Although a young Denominación de Origen, The DO Monstant is located in a land with a large history in winemaking. The wines, mostly reds, are typically made with Grenache and Carignan grapes and are authentic, wild and artisanal. Wines produced in this region are usually extremely good value given the high quality.

Acústic Celler is the personal project of Albert Jané, a young man born in El Vendrell, and whose great-grandfather founded a family-owned wine cellar in the Baix Penedès in 1914. Here, he began to market wines in bulk, and he continued his activity until, in 1985, Benjamí Jané, Albert's father, gave the winery its final boost. He redirected the business, created the brand Jané Ventura and began to bottle his wines. In 1990 the cava would arrive, and in 1991 the red wine, but his objective was always to produce wines that transmitted the affection that the Jané family has for their land. This is the philosophy that Albert Jané applies. He strictly complies with it, with the local varieties of Grenache and Carignan in D.O. Montsant.
