Characteristics of Abés Vendimia Seleccionada
Abés Vendimia Saleccionada is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region produced by the Roberik winery. This wine is made from using only Tempranillo grapes.
The grapes used to make Abés Vendimia Saleccionada come from the wineries own vineyards, which are located in the town of La Horra, 850 metres above sea level. The area is home to a continental climate, with a noticable contrast in the temperature between day and night.
The grapes used are grown on low bush vines, on calcareous-clay soils poor in organic matter, which results in a more flavour. The viticulture processes carried out during the wines production are respectful of the environment in order to obtain, vintage after vintage, the best product.
Abés Vendimia Seleccionada undergoes the different stages or harvesting and vinification in a traditional manner. Before being bottled, it is aged for 10 months in American and French oak barrels.
