Sito Venere Moscato d’Asti is a sparkling wine made by Sito Venere with the Moscatel de Grano Menudo variety in the DOCG Moscato d’Asti (Piedmont).
Sito Venere is a winery located in northern Italy (Piedmont) within the prestigious province of Asti. An ancient, legendary location with views of the Alps, where the vines are biodynamically cultivated and the wines are known around the world for their sensuality and delicacy.
Sito Venere Moscato d’Asti comes from vines planted in chalk limestone soils. At the foot of the mountain, the vines lie on steep terraces that are difficult to access. A perfect terroir and climate for the Moscatel de Grano Menudo variety that is cultivated according to biodynamic principles and harvested manually when it reaches optimum ripeness.
In the winery, Sito Venere Moscato d’Asti is vinified using the charmat method, that is, with a second fermentation in a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature of 4ºC for 20 days. This wine is then refined in the bottle for a few weeks before being sold.
Made at the foot of the Alps, Sito Venere Moscato d’Asti is a sparkling wine with a low alcohol content and refreshing sweetness.
