Characteristics Moriche

Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Moriche is a natural red wine made with the Syrah, Merlot and Tempranillo varieties by the Samsara Wines winery in the D.O. Málaga-Sierras de Málaga.

Samsara Wines is made up of four young wine industry professionals who work using ecological and biodynamic methods. Located in Ronda (Sierra de Málaga) they are dedicated to making natural wines using both French and Spanish varieties.

The vineyards, with different microclimates and soils, are cultivated using biodynamic and permaculture methods to enhance the natural and native biodiversity of each area. All Moriche grapes are manually harvested at night, into 15 kg boxes.

Once in the winery, the Moriche grape ferments spontaneously at a controlled temperature. The wine is not filtered or clarified, and is bottled manually with natural cork.

Moriche is a project by 5 friends who seek to promote the intrinsic properties of the mountains in the most natural way possible.

There was a time where Málaga was a region of real prestige, their wines were consumed in European Courts, enjoyed across the European and American markets, more famous than the wines from Jerez at its peak. Authentic Málaga wines are one of the true treasures of fortified wines, deep, sweet, profound, mysterious in their translucent darkness, which even now are some of the world’s leading wines, from their whites, known for their dryness, up to their Pajarete wines, which easily reach an alcoholic content of around 20%.
