Mascaró Brut Reserve is a classic Mascaró, and dates back since it´s inception in 1946. Mascaró is an established winery with a long tradition and produces all its wine products with the utmost rigor and quality control.

This cava is made from a blend of Parellada, Macabeo and Xarel·lo from vineyards of the Mas Miquel estate situated in Aiguamúrcia, Tarragona.

Antonio Mascaro SL was founded in 1946 by D. Select Mascaro Narciso three generations Mascaro family is dedicated to winemaking (DOPenedès), champagnes and spirits. Its wineries and distilleries are located in Vilafranca del Penedès, 50 km from Barcelona and in the heart of the Penedes region. Their philosophy is to offer quality products with its own personality.
Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
