Gran Campo Viejo Cava Brut Rosé
Characteristics Gran Campo Viejo Cava Brut Rosé
Gran Campo Viejo Cava Brut Rosé is a rosé cava made by the winery Campo Viejo, in D.O. Cava.
Campo Viejo has a long history that dates back to its first harvest in 1959. The production was then carried out at the old vinery of Ortigüela, where it continued to be produced until the opening of the modern sustainable winery in 2001. The long dedication of Campo Viejo to the production of Rioja wines, alongside the application of the most advanced techniques, has allowed them to develop new combinations within the traditional methods to currently offer more modern, vibrant and expressive wine styles.
Campo Viejo controls more than 1900 hectares to make their wines, most of them planted with vines that are over 25 years old. This way, they have different altitudes, orientations and soils, to chose the best grapes in the best conditions.
