

Finca La Serra is a white wine produced by Tomàs Cusiné, in El Vilosell, D.O. Costers del Segre.
In 2003, Tomàs Cusiné starts his own project with a 30-hectare farm located on the northern face of La Llena, the last mountain range of El Montsant. The farm is located between 700 and 740 metres of altitude, on calcareous soils, with different amounts of gravel and with a clay and clayey-loam structure, with good permeability and freshness.
This is where his wines are born. They finish their refinement in the winery located at an old cooperative of the village of El Vilosell.
With maximum respect and little intervention, Tomás Cusiné aims to achieve more elegant, complex, fresh, long lasting wines.
Finca La Serra is a wine made from Chardonnay from the vineyard area with the same name. It is oriented towards the north-east, on sloping terrain, where the wind blows forcefully.
Harvest is performed by hand, and grapes are selected and refrigerated when they arrive at the winery. Cold pre-maceration process before fermentation at 16ºC. Half of the must is fermented in French oak barrels. Ageing process in contact with its fine lees for 6 months.
