De Sousa Cuvée Mycorhize Grand Cru Extra Brut is a biodynamic extra brut sparkling wine made by De Sousa with the Chardonnay variety in the AOC Champagne denomination (France).
Champagne De Sousa is a family winery that has been located in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blancs for three generations. Since 1986 it has been run by Erick De Sousa, a young winemaker who champions the pure expression of the terroir and converted all the Grands Crus vineyards to biodynamic and produces champagnes with exceptional value for money.
De Sousa Cuvée Mycorhize Grand Cru Extra Brut comes from old vines that are over 50 years old and planted on chalk soils, a sedimentary rock of organic origin that is white, porous and soft. They are cultivated using certified organic agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
De Sousa Cuvée Mycorhize Grand Cru Extra Brut is made using the classic traditional method. A cuvée of wines from past and aged vintages that undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle until disgorgement. Finally, a dose of 6 grams of sugar per litre is added.
De Sousa Cuvée Mycorhize Grand Cru Extra Brut is a very exclusive champagne with not many bottles made. A biodynamic work that highlights the liveliness and brilliance of an exceptional Grand Cru.
