Cérvoles Colors is a red wine from the appellation of origin Costers del Segre produced by Cérvoles Celler. This is a blend of the varieties tempranillo, garnacha tinta and syrah.
The climate of this region is a typical continental climate, winters are particularly cold and the summers are very warm. The temperature on average throughout the year is 14ª-15ºC.
The grapes for Cérvoles Colors originate from vineyards planted in the late 70's. The 10 plots of land are located at an altitude of 700 to 750 meters above sea level. The harvest is completed by hand and the selection of the grapes is an exhaustive and rigorous process.
The winemaking process adheres to traditional methods. After the grapes have been fermented. Cérvoles Colors rests for 8 months in French oak barrels before being placed on the market.
Cérvoles Colors was established by the Cusiné family. The first harvest took place in 1997. A very small yield of grapes and an intensive careful approach to the vineyards enables the winery to produce very high quality wines.
In the mouth it is voluminous, balanced, with integrated tannins. Fresh and persistent. Aftertaste of lactic notes.
Cherry red colour with garnet reflections.
In nose it is intense and enjoyable. Smokiness, from aging notes appear, with notes of red and black fruits. Memories of spices such as red pepper and balsamic notes.
