Castello Bonomi Franciacorta Satèn Brut is a sparkling wine made by Castello Bonomi in the DOCG Franciacorta with the Chardonnay variety.

Castello Bonomi currently belongs to the Paladin family. A large wine estate with a beautiful building designed by the architect Antonio Tagliaferri at the end of the 19th century. Located on the slopes of Monte Orfano, in southwestern Franciacorta, it has become a dynamic company, producing wines by combining modernity with tradition.

Castello Bonomi Franciacorta Satèn Brut is comes from 4 hectares of 15-year-old vines with a density of 5,500 strains per hectare. Respecting the environment, nature and the ecosystem, all work in the vineyard is carried out taking into account the particular microclimate that the estate enjoys. The harvest is carried out at the optimum moment of ripeness.

In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed to extract the best must. Then, some of the Castello Bonomi Franciacorta Satèn Brut ferments in stainless steel tanks for approximately 8 months and some ferments in small oak barrels. After refining, the two wines are combined. During the drawing off phase, a small amount of syrup is added for the second fermentation. It then refines in the bottle for 30 months before disgorgement. Finally, the wine rests for a minimum of more 8 months in the bottle.
