Characteristics Anne et Jean-François Ganevat La Gravière

Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Anne et Jean-François Ganevat La Gravière is a biodynamic wine. It is made with 100% Chardonnay and aged on lees in oak barrels in the AOC Côtes du Jura, France.

The Anne et Jean-François Ganevat La Gravière wine is made from vines planted in 1949. This project is currently run by Anne and Jean-François Ganevat, siblings who are the fourteenth generation of the family to manage the winery. Jean-François trained and worked at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, and he has been making their wines since 1998.

With all this history in mind, it is no surprise that the Anne et Jean François Ganevat La Gravière wine is made with special care and attention as they work to preserve those 72 years of history. The grapes are manually destemmed and pressed, fermentation takes place with native yeasts and the wines ages on lees for 30 months.

Anne et Jean François Ganevat La Gravière is where the past meets the future. A true reference point and inspiration for young winemakers and wine lovers.
