About Suntory Hibiki 30 years

Shinjiro Torii was a trailblazer who aspired to produce the finest Western spirits in Japan. This vision led him to establish Suntuory in 1899, one of the world's premier distilleries, where Suntory Hibiki 30 years is crafted. 
 
The finest single malt from Yamazaki and Hakushu, matured in various types of casks and subtly blended with grain whisky from the Chita distillery, is used in the creation of this whisky, which ages for three decades in mizunara oak barrels. The renowned soft water of Yamazaki and its unique climate determine the quality of Suntory Hibiki 30 years.
 
Founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii, a visionary who sought to produce Western-style spirits in Japan, it wasn't until 1923 that he created a whisky imbued with Japanese essence and superior quality called Suntory, designed to satisfy the refined palate of the Japanese people.
 
Hibiki, meaning resonance or harmony in Japanese, was launched in 1989 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the house. Suntory Hibiki 30 Years is the culmination of over a century of dedication and craftsmanship, where each drop encapsulates the perfect harmony between Japanese tradition and Western technique; a true masterpiece brimming with emotion in every sip.
