About PradoRey Élite

Excellent wine from the Ribera del Duero made of the clone Elite of the variety Tinta Fina, characterised by its small grains and thick skin. Its very low yield vines are grown in a single property. After a selection, grapes are fermented in steel tanks and undergo a long maceration. It was aged in Central Europe oak barrels for 14 months and rested in French oak cones for 6 months. Finally, this winen rested in the bottle for a few months before being launched to the market. This wine is only produced in years when the harvest is excellent, with a maximum production of 25,000 bottles approximately. It is recommended to decant this wine at least one hour before serving it. A wine with plenty of life ahead, which can be stored for many years. Great, intense, concentrated and complex wine. Very enjoyable.

2021

PradoRey Élite 2021 is a red wine that captivates with its harmonious balance of ripe fruit and subtle spices. Upon the first taste, one is greeted with a spectrum of ripe fruit notes, such as cherries and plums, enrobed in a hint of Chinese ink that adds depth. Its mineral essence emerges, leading to a rich and focused finish that accentuates the red fruit. This wine is a gastronomic journey that unveils its complexity in an elegant and approachable manner.
2006 From the very start, a great wine is perceived. It has a wide and bulky attack and an excellent and long mid palate, with intense, very tasty aromas and a very dense, full bodied and silky texture. Its notes of fruit are highly noticeable. They are wrapped in creamy and balsamic aromas. A well-balanced wine with a good acidity and polished and well integrated tannins. Very long and persistent finish.  Very elegant wine.

Intense cherry colour with maroon edges. Well covered wine with a high layer. Bright and elegant wine with elegant tears.

Intense and complex aromas. Its wooden aromas are very well integrated and stays in the background. After its elegant toasted notes, aromas of stewed ripe black fruit appear, mixed with a wide range of spicy hints (vanilla, pepper, cinnamon), nice mineral notes and intense balsamic nuances. A great herbal background is noticed all the time.
