About Leclerc Briant Rosé Extra Brut

There are names that speak for themselves, and Frédéric Zeimett is one such name. This champagne maestro did not arrive at Maison Leclerc-Briant by chance. Prior to this, he amassed extensive experience at Moët for over a decade, passed through Pommery, and even managed the wine empire of Michel Chapoutier. His career is, quite simply, on another level.

His arrival at Leclerc-Briant coincided with that of the new American proprietors, Denise Dupré and Mark Nunnelly, in 2012. What was once a quiet house, focused on organic viticulture and solid but occasionally predictable champagnes, was transformed into the bold project of reviving the Maison founded in 1872 in Épernay and enhancing its longstanding biodynamic philosophy.

Today, Leclerc-Briant is synonymous with innovation and quality. With its own vineyard and additional grapes acquired each year, they have managed to position themselves among the greats of Champagne. The key lies in producing champagnes without sulphur, without added dosage, and with a 100% vegan approach, respecting the terroir and the conscious consumer to the fullest. It is no wonder that their bubbles are causing such a stir.

The Rosé Extra Brut is a gem that embodies this philosophy. It is born from the combination of the chardonnay variety and a small percentage of pinot noir vinified as red, presenting itself as fresh, elegant, with lively and sparkling bubbles. Each sip reveals the intensity of meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar, without artifices, allowing the expression of the land and the vision of its creators to speak for themselves.
