About Bestué Finca Rableros

Bestué Finca Rableros is a red wine from Somontano, produced by Bodega Otto Bestué, a winery founded in 1999 by Lorenzo Bestué and his son Otto, heavily influenced a long family history of winemaking tradition since 1640.

The climate in this area, at the foot of the Pyrenees, is characterized by extremely cold winters, hot summers and an average annual rainfall of 500mm. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Tempranillo (50%) from a single farm, Finca Rableros. The vineyards are planted on brown limestone soils. As for processing, after stemming and crushing, the must first undergoes fermentation in its skins in steel tanks. Maceration is then performed for 20 days. Finally, Bestué Finca Rableros spends seven months in American and French oak barrels to age. Subsequently, it is filtered before bottling.

In the mouth it is very fruity, ripe and elegant. Ripe tannins

Cherry red colour with purple hues.

The nose shows ripe red fruits with spicy aromas from the barrel and herbaceous notes.

2009 Fruity, mature, elegant and subtle wine with a wonderful finish in the mouth.

Intense cherry red colour with violet edges.

Clean and intense aromas of ripe red fruit, on a background of spiced aromas characteristic of its ageing in barrels.
2007 Nice attack with a tasty and sweet mid palate. The balsamic notes (eucalyptus and mint) give freshness to the intense fruit and toasted aromas. The sweet spices (vanilla, chocolate, coffee) are felt all along the palate and leave a pleasant aftertaste. Good acidity and good finish.

Fairly intense cherry red colour with purple edges. Clean and bright wine with thin glyceric legs.

Pleasant medium intensity aromas. The notes of ripe red fruits, with a touch of jam, play the main role on its expressive spicy background of notes of vanilla, cocoa and toasted and herbal touches.
