Another sample of the Galician Godello. This white wine by Joaquin Rebolledo is elaborated with grapes selected from Godello vineyards located in the sunny south-facing slopes located on the right bank of the river Sil, in a place with a high concentration of slate in the soil.
A very fresh and friendly wine. Color
Clean straw yellow colour with pewter edges. Bright wine with dense tears.
Nose
This wine shows a good aromatic intensity. The notes of white and yellow stone fruit (peach, apricot) are noticed along with subtle citrus touches mixed with fresh and wet herbal nuances (hay) and many balsamic hints. Intense mineral background with honeyed hints.
Flavour
Wine with a very fresh and friendly attack and a creamy and delicious mid palate in which the sweet notes of ripe fruit are released along with abundant herbal aromas. Creamy wine, with a good structure and a well balanced acidity. Long finish with a tasty fruity aftertaste.
A wine that will delight and never disappoint us.
