Features Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer Joven Blanco 2010

This wine is part of the Viñas del Vero Collection. It is made of Gewürztraminer from vines (some planted in 1990) of the winery's own property, El Enebro, where only this variety is grown.
Grapes are selected and harvested at night. Just after the harvest they undergo cold maceration and then a fermentation process at about 10-12ºC. Filtration, clarification and cold stabilisation until it is bottled.

Color

Golden yellow with thin green edges. Bright.

Nose

Very appealing and marked varietal aroma. Many notes of tropical fruit, with prominent aromas of lychi, citrus and green apple. The floral aromas (rose and jasmine) gain in power when swirling the glass.

Flavour

Very fruity white wine from Somontano, with a silky mid palate full of aromatic floral notes. Slightly sweet and fresh.

    Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer Joven Blanco

    Personally one of the best Gewürztraminer I have drunk. Not so sweet, not so floral and not too spicy, for me perfectly in harmony. You can still easily taste it's a Gewürztraminer, no doubt about that.
