Features
One of the white wines from Rueda which renders the aromas of the variety Verdejo in their puritest state.
Its funny name comes from the use of transistors in the vineyards to avoid (with no physical intervention) the wild boars' night visits.
This wine is made of grapes from old vines, following the traditional winemaking system. Grapes are manually harvested and softly fermented with natural yeast. It stays in large casks, barrels of different sizes and concrete tanks for 9 months.
It was bottled in July 2010 and left to stay in the bottle for 8-10 months.
Limited production: 9,624 bottles. Numbered bottles.
A complex and elegant wine with personality. An enjoyable wine.
Color
Yellow colour with waxen edges. Clean and bright wine with glyceric tears.
Nose
Very subtle nose that forms a well balanced and harmonious aromatic bouquet. The characteristic notes of stone fruits appear along with touches of citrus, elegant creamy notes of pastry and spices (vanilla). The abundant fresh herbal notes round out the nose.
Flavour
Very good, ample and embracing attack. It has a creamy and siky texture and a dry, fresh and tasty, very nice mid palate. Its notes of fruit, citrus and herbs are intense. Excellent acidity and a very persistent finish.
