Score

Features

New vintage of this young white wine from Rueda, made of 100% Verdejo grapes. After a manual selective harvest, the grapes undergo a maceration process with the skins and a fermentation at controlled temperature.
One of the fresher, more expressive and elegant wines from Rueda.

Color

Bright and beautiful yellow colour, with subtle green reflections.

Nose

Wine with a medium-high intensity. The notes of white fruit appear from the beginning along with a hint of tropical fruit and citrus. Some herbal notes (freshly cut grass) and fresh balsamics (fennel) are also felt.

Flavour

Very marked varietal wine with a good attack in which the wine coats the mouth with freshness and fruity aromas. It has a tasty, dry and very fresh mid palate. It is fruity and its acidity is well balanced. Good finish.

This versatile wine of Verdejo is lively, acid and fresh... It is a textbook Verdejo, with an additional careful elaboration which is reflected especially in its clean and powerful mid palate and its witty aromatic nose. A Mullet Rice could go very well with this Naia 2010, which cleans the soft greasy flavour of the mullet and the rice.
