Features Emilio Rojo 2010

Very elegant, complex and excellent wine which is a good reflection of Emilio Rojo and his philosophy.
It is made in a completely crafted way. This wine is made of grapes from the winery's own vineyards planted in very, very small plots which do not reach an hectare. The are planted only with a few strains of a few different varieties with very low yields. The vines are aged of more than 15 years. A part of the wine undergoes a fermentation in French oak barrels from Allier, Nevers and Limousine, while the rest lies in small stainless steel tanks of 2500 l.
Very limited production.
It is recommended to aerate it before serving.
Even if it can be drunk already, this wine will become rounder after 2 or 3 more years in the bottle.
A unique wine such as its author.
One of the most popular and hardly found wines. 
Emilio Rojo is a unique person who produces a wine with a unique personality. Tradition and crafts are concentrated in this wine.

Color

Intense golden yellow colour. Clean and bright wine with abundant dense tears.

Nose

Seductive and concentrated aromas. Its notes of yellow fruit and citrus (especially oranges) are released along with fragrant notes of white flowers on its elegant and subtle mineral background.

Flavour

A unique, friendly and concentrated white wine. This wine coats the palate with powerful fruity flavours accompanied by elegant creamy notes from the first sip. It has a silky, unctuous, tasty and meaty mid palate and a very long and persistent finish that leaves powerful feelings.
