Features

A white wine from Montsant with personality, made of White Grenache from vines aged of 40-60 years.
The 2006 vintage is characterised by a harsh climate, with snow and severe drought. The grapes are harvested in late September. Once destemmed, they undergo an entire winemaking process in stainless steel tanks. The wine is macerated and fermented for 24 hours and rest on its lees in steel vats for 7 months. This wine is not clarified. It is bottled after a gentle filtration.
Its production is limited to 4,000 bottles.
This wine can be drunk withing the next 4-5 years.

Color

Nice pale yellow colour with fine pewter edges. Very bright and clean wine with dense tears.

Nose

Intense, very expressive and very nice nose. Its abundant notes of ripe white fruit and white flowers are mixed with many notes of brioche on its subtle herbal background.

Flavour

Very nice and intense wine with a smooth, very creamy mid palate. The notes of fruit are released along with lots of pastry and nuts aromas. It shows a very good acidity that provides the wine with a good freshness and a long, lingering finish with a mineral aftertaste.
Very tasty, elegant and seductive wine. A white wine from Montsant with no oak ageing.
