Features

As its authors explains, this wine whose original name refers to the energy that wine stores, connects with the nervous system and charge our batteries.
This wine, the younger brother of 4 Kilos, is a Mediterranean wine made of a blend of Fogoneu and Callet, two recovered varieties that have adapted perfectly to the soil and climate of Mallorca, completed with a blend of foreign varieties (Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot).
This year's harvest has been delayed due to the harsh climate, which was in fact benefitial for the grapes as they were provided with a great aromatic concentration.
The vineyards are planted in different locations, with vegetal cover that enhances the role of the soil. The grapes were manually selected. The fermentation and maceration were conducted in stainless steel tanks (the maceration took 20 days approximately). 40% of the wine was aged in American oak barrels, 30% in 3000 l French oak large casks and the rest in second year French oak barrels.
The wine label is designed by the painter and illustrator Gary Baseman, a creative and provocative artist and one of the most influential designers nowadays.

Color

Intense and bright maroon cherry colour with violet edges and high robe. It shows dense, elegant tears that stain the glass.

Nose

Very good and balanced aromatic intensity. Its abundant notes of ripe black fruit are released along with a strong minerality. After swirling the glass, notes of fresh red fruit appear, along with abundant flower aromas and lots of spicy and herbal hints, elegant toasted notes and a herbal touch of Mediterranean forest provided by the wood. It shows an intense balsamic background.

Flavour

A powerful, very tasty wine from Mallorca, with a silky and warm mid palate. It shows a well-balanced structure, in which the fruit is dominant, even if nuanced by mineral and spicy aromas. It has a very good acidity and integrated, noticeable and nice tannins. It has a very long and persistent finish with an elegant toasted aftertaste.
