Features
With this new vintage, it is confirmed that Taberner is an excellent wine from Cadiz, different, very tasty, full of nuances and with its own personality.
It is made of grapes from the winery's own vineyards. The harvest is conducted manually. After the malolactic fermentation and before being placed in barrels, the wine is clarified with egg white. It is aged in French oak barrels in which it stays for 12 months.
This wine can still be saved for 2-3 years more.
Color
Intense cherry colour, with red edges. Clean and bright. Abundant dense tears.
Nose
This wine is an explosion of aromas. When it opens up, it gains in intensity and complexity. Lots of notes of very ripe fruit, compoted, are released along with delicate violets and elegant toasted aromas. Gradually, good balsamic hints and abundant spicy aromas with lots of nuances emerge. The wooden notes get increasingly more intense. A seductive and very harmonious wine.
Flavour
Very tasty, well balanced and well structured. Very nice attack, slightly warm, with a good silky, fleshy and fresh mid palate. Its notes of juicy fruit are mixed with good toasted nuances, all of them wrapped in good creamy milky aromas. Ripe and sweet tannins, that need may need some more time to round out. Very persistent and long finish which leaves hints of fruit and a surprisingly light saline touch.
An inviting wine that leaves no one indifferent. Sweet and easy-drinking.
