Features

An elegant, serious and classic wine from Rioja
It is made with a careful selection of the three varieties typical of the area, from 30-year-old vines grown in the winery's own vineyards. After a manual harvest conducted at different times, the grapes undergo a traditional winemaking process. The fermentation takes place on the skins in French oak barrels from Allier. This wine is aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels of different origins and American oak barrels.
It is finally bottled without a previous filtration and rests in the bottle for a minimum of 15 months.
It is recommended to decant this wine one hour before serving it.
This wine can be stored for 5 years.
A wine that will not disappoint us.

Color

Intense and deep cherry colour with maroon edges. Bright and dense wine with a high layer dense and abundant tears.

Nose

Its intense notes of ripe red fruit remain in the nose for long. Gradually, the different notes of creamy spices, abundant tobacco and leather provided by the oak are released along with subtle herbal notes and nice toasted aromas.

Flavour

Very nice wine with a very intense, powerful and wide attack. A wine with a silky texture which fills the mouth of fleshy notes of fruit, toasted aromas and an outstanding liquorice. It shows a creamy and soft mid palate with balanced tannins, a perfect structure and a great balance. Long finish.
