Features
La Nieta 2007 has been developed from a rigorous selection of Tempranillo grapes hand harvested, from a farm with unique features.
The first fermentation is done in small tubs of wood from 10 hectoliters. The malolactic fermentation and aging of 18 month is performed in French oak barrels resting on best natural conditions in underground cellars similar to those built in the sixteenth century.
A great wine that we will not forget.

Color
Dark red, very bright, with purple hues. Continous tear that dyes the cup.
Nose
Intensely aromatic complexity. We will find aromas of black fruit, toasted, milk, spices ( vanilla, cinnamon). All this with a sharp balsamic and mineral substance. As it opens, we will find more intensity.
Flavour
Very good start, spacious, velvety and powerful. Present tannins but well integrated. Long and persistent aftertaste, with mineral presence. A very elegant wine.
