Features

The 2004 vintage was a high quality vintage after a tough and irregular year, in which sprouting and harvest were delayed of a few weeks.
This wine is made of grapes from vines aged of more than 30 years. Once the wine is selected for the ageing, it stays between 30-36 months in American oak barrels and it is aged for 36 months more in the bottle.
It is recommended to decant the wine for at least 2 hours before it is served.
Wine with a great ageing potential.

Color

Intense and very dark cherry red colour. Bright wine with dense, elegant- falling tears that stain the glass subtly.

Nose

Complex and intense aromas. The notes of red and black fruit are nuanced by light floral and noble toasted aromas. The notes of spices, tobacco, coffee and chocolate are also felt along with creamy touches provided during the ageing that round this wine out.

Flavour

This wine coats the mouth with elegant flavours, creamy tosted notes and fruit arômas at the attack. It has a silky texture. A balanced wine with a good structure and an excellent acidity. It has well-integrated tannins and a long and very persistent finish.
A very elegant great classic wine.
