It is made of Tempranillo from a very exclusive vineyard, in which a very thorough work is conducted and a very low production is obtained. Grapes are manually harvested and carefully selected. The destemming is also manual. After a cold pre-fermentative maceration for 6 days, the wine undergoes a fermentation in new French oak barrels and 2 French oak tanks with treadings twice a day. It is macerated with the skins and the malolactic fermentation takes place in a new French oak barrels (double barrels) for 24 months. Its is left to stay for some time in the bottle.
A wine that can be stored up to 2020.
It is recommended to decant it for an hour before it is served.
Intense dark, almost black cherry colour with maroon edges. Very bright wine with abundant dense tears.
Very intense and complex aromas, with incredible notes of juicy very ripe black fruit mixed with lots of creamy and milky notes. When it opens up, the elegant notes of wood are slowly and quietly released along with strong mineral hints (provided by the terroir) and a touch notes of tobacco, liquorice, nuts, which become increasingly intenses. A very nice and very elegant nose!
Very intense, very expressive, very fleshy, concentrated, bulky and wide wine. Great mid palate with perfectly balanced and well integrated elegant notes of fruit and wood. It has a very silky mid palate with an excellent acidity and ripe tannins. Very long and very persistent finish.
