Tasting report El Nómada 2009
Intense, bright cherry colour with subtle maroon reflections. Thin tears.
Very fresh aromas with strong notes of juicy and very expressive ripe red fruit with intense balsamic hints and pleasant floral notes. When it opens up, a wide range of spices are released along with notes of coffee and chocolate, vanilla and pepper, subtle touches of tea leaves in perfect balance with the creamy toasted notes provided by the oak.
Very fresh and tasty wine, with a long, very friendly and elegant mid palate. It has a velvety texture with a good load of fruity notes, creamy nuances and an amazing mineral background. Very good acidity and very nice tannins, which are still noticeable. Long and persistent finish.
