Features
New vintage of this excellent reserva wine from Rioja produced in the traditional way. It undergoes a malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. After 18-month ageing in French oak barrels of different ages, the wine is gently clarified and bottled after a very light filtration. It is left to stay in the bottle for about 36 months.
A wine that will have a good evolution over the next 12 years.
It is recommended to aerate it at least 2 hours before it is served since it is a very closed wine.
A very elegant wine.
Color
Beautiful ruby red colour with maroon edges. Medium robe. A clean and bright wine with dense tears.
Nose
Once opened, elegant and powerful aromas of ripe berries, almost jam, are released along with balsamic notes and aromas provided by the wood: vanilla, toffee, chocolate, snuff,... They are all very balanced and harmonious.
Flavour
A very elegant wine, with an intense attack and a meaty, very tasty and warm mid palate. Its notes of ripe fruit are released along with good toasted aromas and creamy spices. It shows ripe tannins, a good acidity and a long and lingering aftertaste.
