Features

Rioja wine from the province of Alava made of 100% Tempranillo from very old vines.
It is produced with a great care and a careful winemaking. Grapes are harvested manually and selected both in the vineyards and in the winery, grain by grain. After a long maceration in stainless steel tanks, this wine undergoes a malolactic fermentation and is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. It rests in the bottle for another 18 months.
An elegant wine with character.

Color

Intense dark cherry colour with light violet reflections. Medium-high robe.

Nose

Good and very harmonious aromatic intensity. Initially, the notes of ripe red fruits, flowers (violets) and herbs are released. When it opens up, the wine gains in expressiveness and its balsamic notes of leather, liquorice and spices provided by the wood are felt with a soft spicy touch of black pepper.

Flavour

Wide and fresh attack with a silky, very tasty mid palate. It slightly sweet notes of fruit are noticed along with creamy touches. Very good acidity and well-integrated tannins. Long and persistent finish.
Very elegant and tasty wine. A different Rioja.
