Features Valduero Reserva 2007

Valduero Reserva 2007 is a fantastic red wine made by Bodegas Valduero, only made in vintages in which the harvest is very good or excellent. To make it, Valduero select the best grapes from vines between 15 and 25 years old and after the traditional winemaking process the wine ages for 30 months in American, French and European oak barrels. It remains for 18 months more in the bottle. A Ribera del Duero wine with great ageing potential.

Tasting report Valduero Reserva 2007

Color

An attractive cherry maroon colour, intense and high robe. Clean and bright with elegant tears on the glass.

Nose

Complex, intense, and very fine, with a high concentration of black fruit, very well integrated with notes from its ageing. A great range of spices open out, giving us notes of sweet spices, coffee, chocolate, tobacco, good cedar wood and nice toasted notes. A light balsamic background with a slightly floral touch.

Flavour

This classic red wine is elegant and serious, tasty and fleshy, with a very good balance between the fruit and the wood. On the palate it is smooth and silky. Perfect acidity and powerful, ripe tannins. A long finish, leaving fruity and balsamic sensations.
