Features
Exceptional wine whose new vintage becomes once more one of the greatest wines in Spain.
This vintage of Aalto PS, which was not produced in 2007, is once again a very expressive and elegant wine, full of fruit.
It is the result of a careful selection of grapes, properties and vineyards and the wine is only made from highly selected grapes from very old vines, aged of more than 80 years. The harvest is conducted manually.
It was aged for 30 months in new French oak barrels. Once bottled, it rested in the winery's cellar for at least 3 months.
This wine is only made in exceptional vintages (7-8 harvests per decade).
It is recommended to decant this wine for 4-6 hours before serving it.
It has a good ageing potential.
One of the greatest, more complex and elegant wines. A pleasure!
Color
Deep cherry colour with maroon edges. Clean and bright wine with a high robe and dense, elegant, slow-falling tears that stain the glass.
Nose
Elegant, intense and complex aromas, with very expressive and marked notes of red and dark fruit mixed with sweet spices, cocoa, toffee and toasted aromas that gain in expressiveness when it opens up. Large background of aromatic herbs, minerals and subtle notes of undergrowth.
Flavour
Huge, powerful, full-bodied and very bulky red wine, with intense and well-integrated notes of ripe fruit mixed with toasted, chocolate and balsamic aromas that melt in the mouth with creaminess. Very tasty and sweet. Excellent acidity. Well integrated tannins. It has a very, very long and very persistent finish.
A pure pleasure! A hardly forgetable experience! Other vintages
