Features

A Grenache wine that could not be missing in the collection Garnachas from Spain, a project by Raúl Acha to pay tribute to this variety. It is the fruit of a hard work which shows us how the same variety offers a thousand different nuances depending on the area in which it is grown.
This wine is made of Garnacha from vines planted more than 60 years ago in El Molar, a property with licorella soils at more than 300 m altitude. It is produced according to the traditional winemaking techniques and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
Such as the name suggests and the label shows, it is an intense and dark wine.

Color

Intense and dark ripe cherry colour with purple reflections. Clean and bright wine with abundant thin and dense tears.

Nose

Intense aromas with a highly varietal character. Its abundant notes of ripe and juicy red and black fruit are mixed with aromas of spices (coconut, vanilla, cocoa) and soft toasted hints on a background full of mineral notes.

Flavour

Very rich and tasty wine with a wide nice attack that gives way to fleshy notes of fruit and very well balanced wooden aromas. It has a good acidity and polished tannins. Its long finish, leaves a pleasant aftertaste.
Elegant and complex, very tasty wine.
