Features

Excellent wine from Priorat, a pure reflection of the land and the grapes of the area.
It is made of Grenache and Carignan from vines aged of more than 100 years, with very low yields. After a selective manual harvest and a long maceration, the wine was aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
It is recommended to decant this wine at least 2-3 hours before serving it.
It has a great ageing potential, as it can be stored until 2026.
A pleasure in every sense.

Color

Dark, almoust black cherry colour, with purple edges. Bright wine with a high robe and abundant thin slow-falling tears.

Nose

Great, intense and expressive aromas. Its fleshy notes of black fruit give way to elegant and soft toasted notes and a great minerality reminiscent of the slate soils. Spicy notes are also noticed along with some hints of Mediterranean scrubland and some aromatic balsamic touches which complete this extraordinary set.

Flavour

Elegant, very tasty and well-bodied wine, with a great balance. Flavourful wine with a very good attack, with lots of volume and a silky mouth in which the wine coats the palate with juicy notes of fruit and very expressive mineral aromas. Concentrated wine with well integrated sweet tannins and an excellent perfectly balanced acidity. Very long and persistent finish with immense fruity sensations.
Very, very elegant.

This wine reminds us of the Priorat terroir. It is produced in Porrera from Grenache and Carignan vines aged of more than one hundred years. These vines have an average production of 500 gr/stock.
The result is a structured, fleshy and mineral wine with notes of red and black fruit perfectly integrated with the aromas provided during the ageing. In the mouth, it is warm and balanced and shows velvety tannins, which make this wine delicious. It can perfectly be paired with game dishes, such as deer or wild boar, or roast meat, such as lamb or suckling pig.
