Features
Pago Florentino is the name given to the fifth estate of Castilla-La Mancha, the designation of origin joined by this wine in 2009.
This wine is made of the variety Cencibel from the property Finca La Solana, characterised by a extreme weather, under the direction of Florentino Arzuaga, from the typical winery Arzuaga, from Ribera del Duero. This wine is produced in a small scale and according to the traditional winemaking systems. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Elegant and delicious wine, perfect to discover the variety Cencibel. Color
Intense and deep cherry colour with maroon edges. Clean and bright wine with very good tears.
Nose
Very expressive and open wine. Its aromas of black fruits envelop all with subtle sweety hints, almost jam. The spices and the creaminess provided by the wood are a nice accompaniment for the fruit.
Flavour
Powerful, fleshy and balanced wine. In the palate, it is full of pleasant sensations. Its intense notes of ripe fruit and spices are released along with sweet and good balsamic touches. This wine shows a silky, very tasty and sweet mid palate and noble tannins. Very good finish which leaves final toasted aromas.
