Features Perelada 3 Fincas Crianza 2009

A red wine from Empordà, which improves vintage after vintage.
It is made with grapes from three very different vineyards of slate, clay and sandy soils which provide different nuances to the wine.
With the absence of Syrah and a greater percentage of the Carignan, the 2009 vintage shows a more mature touch.
The grapes undergo a separate winemaking process. Once the blend is made, the wine rests for 12 months in American oak barrels (70%) and French oak barrels from Allier (30%). Once bottled, the wine is rounded out thanks to its 6-8 months resting in the bottle.
This wine can be saved for the next two years.
A fresh and very nice wine full of fruit.

Tasting report Perelada 3 Fincas Crianza 2009

Bright and clean intense cherry red colour with maroon edges. A wine with a medium layer and good tears.

Very nice aromas with a good intensity. The abundant notes of juicy, ripe red fruit are mixed with the creamy touch of the soft and sweet spicy notes provided by the oak. Tasty chocolate notes are also noticed.

Very tasty wine, with a nice attack that fills the mouth with juicy notes of fruit wrapped in the creamy aromas and cocoa. Soft tannins and good acidity that provides it with a good freshness. It shows a long and pleasant finish with reminiscences of fruit and oak.
A nice and harmonious wine.
