Features

Wine from Bierzo made of Mencia, a local variety typical of the region, from old vines some of which are centenary. Fermented at controlled temperature and aged for 9 months in American oak barrels.

Color

Ruby red colour with violet reflections. Bright. Thin tears.

Nose

Intense aromas provided by the oak (roasted and milky) on a persistent background of very ripe red and black fruit with a touch of spicy.

Flavour

Século Crianza 2008 is a very structured, balanced wine. Soft and tasty mid palate. The fruit is the star. An easy drinking wine.
