Characteristics of Torre Galimany Brut Nature Gran Reserva

This cava, which is fermented in the barrel, owes its name to the estate's watch tower, Heredad Segura Viudas, located in Torrelavit.

Torre Galimany is made mostly with the autochtonous Xarel·lo variety, giving it excellent volume. A very creamy and full-bodied wine.

Sight A pale, bright yellow colour with fine, elegant and persistent bubbles which form a pretty crown around the glass. Nose From the first moment this cava shows aromatic complexity, with aromas from the Xarel•lo grapes prevailing, melting with all the aromas from its ageing in the barrel. Its ageing in the bottle in racks for over 38 months brings creamy and toasted tones to this succulent and balanced cava. Taste Elegant attack, with well-integrated fizziness and acidity on the palate, very well made. This cava is long, bulky and particularly creamy and full-bodied, making it the perfect pairing for strong cheeses.

Sight Color pale straw yellow, brilliant. Fine and abundant bubbles rising gently to the surface of the glass and is a splendid half-crown. Nose Elegant aromas contributed by the barrel of the fermentation Xarel.lo (nuts, coconut, toasted soft). Complex aromas of ripe fruit (quince-melon) that highlight the flavors provided by the barrel. Taste

Flavor is a good acidity that is rounded to the great structure that now this cava. It is a Brut Nature and still feel the flavor is Melosa, tasty, invited to continue enjoying it.

Winery Segura Viudas

Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
