Features

Turo d'en Mota represents the elegance of simplicity: a single-estate cava, made of a single variety, from a single vintage and with a very limited production.
This is a terroir cava in the widest sense, this is to say, a cava with the expression of limestone soils with a Mediterranean microclimate, made of Xarel.lo only, from a single vineyard planted in 1940.
Its first fermentation takes place in oak barrels. It rests in the bottle for more than 100 months. Very limited production with does not exceed the 3,000 bottles. Each bottle is numbered and the date of disgorgement is displayed on it.
It is recommended opening this cava a few minutes before serving it.
A real luxury! One of the greatest cavas!

Color

Very bright and clean straw yellow colour with very thin bubbles which form a large crown on the surface.

Nose

Cava which surprises for its great intensity, its expressiveness and its complexity after such a long ageing. Very fresh cava with lots of ripe fruit, especially citrus, mixed with soft toasted aromas and delicate touches of nuts. A subtle mineral background is also noticed.
A seductive cava.

Flavour

A cava that fills the mouth with its expression, its intensity and its elegance. Very refined, dry and very fresh cava with a long mid palate and full of nuances. Perfectly integrated fizziness and a lively and very nice complete harmony. Extraordinarily long finish with a toasted aftertaste.
One of the most elegant cavas that can be found nowadays!
