In this environment full of history and tradition there are 55 hectares of Monastrell, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Syrah and Petit Verdot, some with ecological cultivation, ie without using chemicals and tending to treat the vines with better respect for life cycles. The soils are composed of limestone, which makes its permeability is excellent for growing vines. Physical and chemical properties of this soil give the grapes a very definite personality. As the climate is continental with Mediterranean influence, and the rainfall is low, less than 300 liters m2/year. The average altitude of the vineyards is between 700 and 850 meters. These aspects are the key influences of the potential wine quality. The vines in some cases, are more than eighty years old.
