Sulfur dioxide

A chemical compound by a combination of sulfur and oxygen, of transcendental importance in oenology for their complex and protective actions: antiseptic, disinfectant, antioxidant, brightening and Ventilation color. In excessive amounts causes a peculiar smell rather unpleasant.
