Belondrade & Lurtón

The winery Belondrade, S.L. was founded in 1994 with the idea of transferring bourgogne technics to the Verdejo grape. Directed by Didier Belondrade, a French lover of Spain, who was interested in the native Verdejo grape and its perceived ability to aging, produces its first harvest in 1994 and d Belondrado LURTON with a production of 10,000 bottles. Thirteen years after the average crop production is 80,000 bottles. Since 2000 the winery was built by the French architect Dufos Vincent du Rau, is located in the town of La Seca, overlooking a vast landscape that highlights the Castilian modern integrated architecture of the winery. Located on the farm Quinta San Diego, was named the second son of Didier. There are three wines from the cellar Belondrade, two of them are named after the daughters of Didier (Clarisa and Apolonia). The Belondrade and LURTON, 100% verdejo is fermented and raised in French oak barrels and American over a half years and remains asleep for six months in bottle before going to market. Quinta Apolonia, is the second wine of the winery, the fruit of the grapes from young vines and the initial selections made LURTON Belondrade and after fermentation, which allows us to maintain the philosophy of the winery and overcome every day quality and Belondrade LURTON. Clarisa Quinta is the fruit of a vineyard templanillo located around the farm Quinta San Diego.
