Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos

Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos is a young winery, with 42 hectares within the Designation of Origin Ribera de Duero. It must be highlighted that the harvest is done manually. Ten of the hectares located in the province of Burgos are planted with 60-year-old vines. The winery is called after the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. Mariano García (from the winery Mauro and former oenologist at Vega Sicilia) and Javier Zaccagnini began producing Aalto wines in 1998, with the financial support of several investors enthusiastic of quality wines.
