Variety of grapes. The origin of this strain, is surrounded by controversies and doubts. One of the theses is that comes from the Persian city of Shiraz. The Phoenicians or after the Crusaders would have taken to Gaul. According to others comes from Syracuse in Italy. It has a large presence in the central and southern France, which has given suppose to be native to the Rhone region where single-varietal wines are made from this grape, especially the Hermitage. This variety is easy to grow. Requires full sun and high temperatures. It is resistant to disease. However, its yield figure is low. Syrah wine is nice and tasty, deep fruity aroma and wild violets. The color is intense, refined, solid and austere, spicy and notable acidity. It is ideal to share at meetings combined with strong aged cheeses and sausages. Also excellent accompaniment to pasta with spicy red sauces and meats as the pan, roast lamb or guisadas.El is also a good reason to crack open a bottle of Syrah, and the spicy pork to the Hindu way. Ideal for sharing with game animals like deer, wild boar and birds.
