Highly aromatic power and high sugar content. It produces very characteristic wines and a large proportion is intended for direct consumption as table grapes. Its cultivation is widespread throughout Spain, but most abundant in Valencia and Malaga. Considered the main variety in the denominations of origin of Malaga and Valencia.
