D.O. working with this variety
In winemaking this provides an almost unparalleled intensity and concentration. The cluster is small, short taper. Its berries are medium in size and spherical shape. They have colored flesh, which serves to give more color to the wine. Indeed its name comes from the amount of color it provides for its colored flesh. Originally from France under the name of Bouschet. It is the main variety in the D.O. Almansa.
