José Antonio López
José Antonio is the owner and the director of the Restaurant Flor de Barbastro, a restaurant that has grown with him, or the other way around. He started in November 1975 running the Bar Flor in the Diputación Square. Two years later, he rented the premises nearby which belonged to an old popular restaurant and he merged both places to open his restaurant (à la carte and with daily meal sets). With no more than a dozen tables, the good service provided was already a rule at the restaurant. As the demand increased, the placed became too small, and on 20th december 1980, José Antonio inaugurated the new Restaurant Flor in bigger premises at the Goya Street, where you can find it nowadays and where it hosts both big celebrations and the smallest dinners in an intimate atmosphere. All of this together with José Antonio's know how, that he shares in courses and competitions as much as he can. His curiosity and exciment about learning have no limits. He is always ready to give advice and to help providing his skills, his knowledge and his friendlyness.
