Emi started working at the restaurant Casa Marcial while studying to earn some extra money. There, little by little, she got hooked on the world of gastronomy and when she finished the secondary school, she studied cooking at the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management of Gijón. When she was 20, she opened a small homemade meal bar, in which she involved her mother. Within a few years, she was asked to run the restaurant La Posada de Granda, and she accepted. A year latter, the opportunity arose to buy the restaurant and there she is now. She has always had a great interest in all novelties, and therefore, she participates in tastings at the Asturian Sumelliers Association and in various courses organised in the area on mycology, on nouvelle cuisine, ...
