Characteristics of Petit Grealó

Red wine produced in the village of Seró, in the subarea of Artesa. The vineyards are located under the Serra del Montsec mountains, with a continental-Pyrenean climate in which the temperature differences are stressed due to the high temperatures during the day and the cold weather at night. The grape harvest is conducted manually and the wine is aged for one year in stainless steel deposits. Petit Grealó 2010 is a young red wine with a great value for money.

Tasting notes Petit Grealó

Sight Color intense cherry and red with purple reflections. Nose In red fruits nose stand out of wood and black fruits, balsamic notes and minty, smoky and mineral notes.
Taste Wide entry, greedy, silky. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins. Returns and fresh fruit compote in amount, with menthol and balsamic memories.

Winery Vinya L'Hereu

When we refer to the DO Costers del Segre we think of wines with a continental character, which in some respects is true, but extensive replantation of international grape varieties means that the majority of wines produced here lack a geographical or territorial trademark, even though the vast majority of the wines are technologically perfect. However, there are currently wineries such as Mas Blanch i Jové, Costers del Sio, L’Olivera, Lagravera and Thomas Cusiné, among others, who concentrate their effors on producing wines with what are considered varieties native to the region. However, the majority of this region is still dominated by classic international varieties.
