Mas Tinell Carpe Diem is made of grapes only from vintages that have been rated as extraordinary for their quality. Its ageing is different for each bottling and the cava is released to the market at its optimal moment only.

Tasting notes Mas Tinell Carpe Diem Reserva Especial Brut Nature

Sight Very bright, pale straw yellow colour. It shows abundant thin bubbles which come off regularly forming a crown on the surface. Nose Its complex aromas are mainly due to the high percentage of Parellada and Chardonnay in its composition. It shows a clean and fresh nose. Taste In the palate, this is a well-structured, smooth, balanced and very dry cava, with a well-integrated fizziness. Good persistence and fruity aftertaste.

Winery Caves Mas Tinell

Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
